An international healthcare nonprofit based in the US is preparing to triple in size supported by significant new funding. The leadership team is concerned that the current HR organization will not be able to support the expansion and is not, perhaps, the right fit for the organization. The organization is split among professional staff working remotely and a single warehouse site and will be adding service site project managers internationally.

Following a compliance, systems, and processes audit, we will build a compensation structure to bring the company in line with California’s requirements. A global talent acquisition and employment partner who focuses on nonprofits and NGO’s will be engaged for all recruiting and employment logistics outside of the US. Aligned will oversee the implementation of a new human capital management and payroll system built for where the organization is going and engage a new benefits broker to provider broader and more hands on support.

In order to increase belonging and innovation, remote staff will have team effectiveness training provided by a top practitioner in this space. A development plan will be implemented for all high potential employees, particularly those at the senior level who are key to future succession planning. In addition, we’ll institutionalize in person team and company-wide goal-driven retreats that will also nurture community, inspiration, and mentorship.

Unfortunately, the current team will not grow with the client. Aligned will oversee the outplacement of the current staff and the selection an onboarding of a new staff, whose skill sets meet the company’s needs.
